Arrow Point

This house, while in a beautiful location, had been added on to over the years. As a result, the circulation was confusing and the sequence of spaces did not work for the new Owners. The house was very dated and needed quite a bit of repair – everywhere. For Phase 1, The interior was totally redone and completely reconfigured. Windows and doors were added as well which updated the exterior. In Phase 2 the exterior was tackled. The existing decks were replaced with slightly different footprints. Retaining walls were also replaced and reconfigured to add planters. An outdoor shower area was created outside of the back entry for rinsing off after boating in the bay and a whole new entry court was designed for seamless entry into the house and access to the upper back deck. Besides helping the Owners – who lived remotely, with the renovation design I helped with choosing colors, materials, tile patterns, light fixtures and furnishing I also monitored the construction which was done by Fairbank Construction.
